About
I am Luz Palou García, an interdisciplinary artist based in both Boston, Massachusetts, and Puebla, Mexico. I primiairly use oil painting, installation, ceramics, and sculpture. Born in Puebla, Mexico, my childhood was defined by frequent moves, with nature as the only constant. In these transitions, I found solace in walking, in the organic forms created by nature, and in the intricate details of the natural world. My practice delves into themes of grief, belonging, displacement, and the reimagining of new pathways forward. Through the portals I create, I invite audiences to envision alternative ways of navigating the world.Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University.
How differently would you move through life if you could imagine a better world?
